More information:

A green and yellow DART electric suburban train stands alongside the platform at Bray (Daly) railway station in County Wicklow, Ireland, on the coastal rail route serving Dublin and nearby communities. The train occupies much of the left foreground, with large dark-framed carriage windows, the DART name and coloured geometric logo visible on its side. One set of sliding passenger doors is open beside the platform, revealing the carriage entrance, while rows of seating can be seen through the adjacent windows. The distinctive bright green upper body, yellow horizontal stripe and darker green lower panels make the train recognisable as part of the Dublin Area Rapid Transit network. The platform surface extends away into the distance on the right, edged with a yellow safety line and a textured warning strip beside the track. A substantial blue-green metal pedestrian footbridge crosses over the railway above the train, with lattice-pattern sides. Overhead electrical wires, masts and gantries follow the tracks, for electric rail operation. Further along the railway, other silver-coloured passenger rolling stock can be seen on adjoining tracks, while a red railway signal is illuminated near the far end of the platform. The curved track alignment leads the eye towards the background. The sky is pale and overcast, giving soft daylight. Bray is a coastal town south of Dublin, and its railway station provides connections between County Wicklow and the capital through the DART system. The network links communities along the Irish Sea coast, including destinations towards Greystones, Dublin city centre, Howth and Malahide. The photograph illustrates everyday regional passenger transport, electrified railway infrastructure, suburban mobility and public rail services. Its combination of an open train doorway, platform markings, overhead wires and elevated footbridge records a recognisable scene of Irish railway travel at a station on the Dublin coastal route.
