The Holzhafen development site is set to become a new residential and hotel district in Duisburg. The project makes use of a former industrial site as part of Norman Foster’s long-standing masterplan for the inner harbour. It combines residential, dining and leisure facilities by the water, integrated into the historic setting featuring the remains of the city wall between the old town and the harbour basin.
