Passengers inside a carriage on the Hakone Tozan Railway (箱根登山鉄道), the rack railway in the mountainous Hakone region of Kanagawa Prefecture. A poster on the ceiling advertises the partnership between the Hakone Tozan Railway and the Rhaetian Railway in Switzerland (Rhaetian Railway); both lines connect their respective mountain regions via steeply graded routes. The wooded slopes of the Hakone mountain range can be seen through the carriage windows. Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan
