Summer flowers grow on the hillside in front of the Mia and Hermann Hesse House in Gaienhofen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Built in 1907 in Swiss country house style according to Mia Hesse's ideas and the plans of Basel architect Hans Hindermann, a relative of Mia Hesse. Owner Eva Eberwein organises and conducts guided tours of the house and garden, gives lectures on the historical context of Hesse's time in Gaienhofen, and takes part in local film and event formats.
