The Mia and Hermann Hesse House stands behind a hoarding in Gaienhofen on Lake Constance, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In the immediate vicinity of the listed house, an excavation pit is being dug, which is threatening the historic garden’s natural spring water supply. The green-painted house with a red tiled roof is surrounded by dense hedges.
