Diagonal rows of red and green lettuce form a pattern across a field on Gewerbestraße on the island of Reichenau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The island measures roughly 4.5 by 1.5 kilometres and counted 39 vegetable farms in 2024. Trees and the Hochwart tower rise beyond the field, with a footpath crossing the open ground.
