Yslaire's mural "Mémoires du XXe Ciel" covers the gable of a house in Square Saint-André, Rue Sainte-Marie, Angoulême, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. The shadow on the right-hand side does not come from this picture itself. A winged figure painted on a building on the other side of the square casts it. The mural depicts a scene with a couple, an aeroplane and a moon set against the backdrop of historic architecture.
