At the Ateliers Arquié art porcelain workshop on Avenue Baudin in Limoges, Haute-Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, a craftswoman smooths a large, egg-shaped porcelain body with a sponge. She wears disposable gloves and a white T-shirt with a small red heart, and her forearm is tattooed. A wall clock and a fan hang behind her in front of graffiti in green, orange and purple. The workshop was founded in 1996 and specialises in the design and production of customisable and artistically designed porcelain objects. It combines traditional craftsmanship with modern shapes, colours and techniques.
