The artist attaches particular importance to harmonious transitions, fragmented colour fields and subtle gloom. The tapestry combines bold and delicate colour areas to create poetic yet socially critical imagery. The weaving technique and colour implementation are carried out in close collaboration with local dyers and weavers in order to translate the desired nuances and depth of the artist's ink drawings into textile form.
