New library has 'homework cubicles' for schoolchildren. Cubicles which can be reserved by boys and girls wishing to do their homework away from home are provided in a new children's library just opened in Marah Street, Walthamstow. Each cubicle is numbered and can be reserved for an unlimited time. Upholstered chairs and daylight lamps are provided. Children who are distracted at home by the noise of radio and household work can now seek refuge in a homework cubicle.
