Desmond Noonan seen here shortly after being released following his conviction for conspiracy to pervert justice. Noonan of Cherry Tree Road Northern Moor was found guilty of conspiracy to pervert justice after police found a secret recording of a conversation between Noonan and Mark Codling, who was seeking to end the intimidation against his girlfriend and brother who had witnessed a violent attack by a man called Bobby Gervis. Noonan was released after sentencing by the court having already served five months in custody. 30th October 1995
