About the job
We are looking for a committed and detail oriented C++ software engineer to be part of our development team. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, documenting software and providing problem analysis and resolution in support of existing applications and projects that address business requirements.
Our Technopark development team develop in a project-based agile environment, working closely with our colleagues in the UK. The selected candidate will:
- Participate and direct design sessions for the creation of functional and business requirements
- Develop applications as per the requirements / specifications
- Assist in creating requirement analysis documentation, product backlogs and use cases
- Create and execute unit and integration test cases
- Provide problem analysis and resolution in support of existing applications
- Follow the process guidelines set by the department including coding standards, code reviews and configuration control.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Masters in Computer Application with 1 - 3 years of experience in the development of high performance/web applications
- At least 2 years of development experience in C++
- Working knowledge of Win32 APIs, shell scripting and SQL
- Exceptional understanding of multi-threaded programming and STL objects
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and socket programming will be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of ASP.NET, C# and JavaScript will be an added advantage
