Looking to grow your network, or simply be inspired by the world around you? We have worked with our creative team to put together a list of this year’s must-visit places and awesome events from around the world.

Going to events is great if you’re in the creative industries – it gives you the opportunity to network with like-minded people, embark on collaborations, learn new skills and keep up to date with the latest trends.

Here’s a pick of some of our favourites:

OFFF Barcelona May 26th – 28th
An annual 3 day event held in Barcelona, OFFF hosts a variety of international speakers and is the perfect place for creatives from around the world to meet and collaborate. This is the perfect event for you if you’re a designer, developer or student…or anyone else interested in the creative world.

Reasons to be creative – Brighton, September 2016
Targeted at multi-disciplined individuals this event was set up to inspire a range of people from within the creative industries. Held annually in Brighton, UK, it attracts some of the world’s most talented designers, film makes, illustrators and more.

They say: “Make no mistake, this is an event that you will walk away from inspired, enlightened, and with a bigger network than when you arrived.”

London Design Festival September 17th – 25th
This annual event was initially held as a showcase for the creativity of London. Described as an “un-missable display of design”, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to explore what London has to offer.

F5 – New York
F5 is an annual festival exploring design, art & technology. The two day festival attracts people from across the creative community including filmmakers, writers, digital artists, game designers, interactive artists, motionographers, graphic designers, visual effects experts, musicians, industry visionaries and many more.

They say: “It’s an essential meeting point for future-minded individuals with the power to create lasting change.”

Semi Permanent – Sydney May 26th – 28th
Semi Permanent is a Sydney-based event that gives the creative community a glimpse into what is happening in design. As well as that, it’s a great place to network, build relationships and ignite collaborations.

To be successful you need to give yourself time to observe, imagine and daydream…and where better to do those things than some of the most creative places in the world?

We’ve put together some of our favourite places to feel inspired…

Southbank – London
Looking for inspiration in London? To really witness creativity, a trip to South Bank is a must. It’s the perfect place for all things arts and entertainment; it’s home to the Southbank Centre, the British Film Institute, the Royal Festival Hall and loads of TV studios. Take a walk along the river and you will find plenty of artists and street performers to inspire you.

Brooklyn Art – New York
Brooklyn is one of the most creative places in New York City with artist studios, galleries and street art. The art showcases new techniques and new mediums – a great place to start thinking about your next creative project.

They say: “As trends develop in the street, we watch to see how they affect popular culture and the rest of the art world.”

Federation Square – Melbourne
Showcasing work from new and emerging Melbourne artists, Federation Square is a must visit when you’re in Melbourne. It’s the home of the Centre for the Moving Image, The National Gallery of Victoria and Kirra Galleries.
