International Skiing Competition for the Cup of the Tatra Mountains was held on February 23 to March 3. The competition brought together several dozen sportsmen from Poland, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Romania and Hungary. A 8 km women's race, from the upper station of the cableway on Gubalowka to the stadium Under the Krokiew Mountain, was held on the first day of the competition.
