Bolton, UK. 29th September 2013. Visiting family viewing a pygmy (pigmy) goat at the Animal World attraction at Moss Bank Park, Bolton, on its final weekend of operation before closing due to the need for Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council to make budget cuts. The attraction was under threat in 2011 but was reprieved at that time due to greater involvement of volunteers and the introduction of a small entry charge. Other Council cuts include the removal of all park ranger posts, a reduction in full-time grass cutting posts and employment of fewer street sweepers.
