Designer Ian Stuart creates dramatic wedding dresses which play with volume and incorporate hints of colour. He trained with the London couture house Bellville Sassoon which made a speciality of bridal wear. The model wears the dramatic “Caracas” dress from Stuart‘s 2014 Frill Me! collection. The V&A exhibition opens to the public on 3 May. Over 80 of the most romantic, glamorous and extravagant wedding outfits will be on display, including outfits worn by Dita Von Teese, Kate Moss, The Duchess of Cornwall, Mary Charteris and Gwen Stefani.
