U.S. Marine Brig. Gen. William F. Mullen III, commanding general of Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC), welcomes students attending Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 2-17 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Mar. 13, 2017. WTI is a seven week training event hosted by MAWTS-1 cadre. MAWTS-1 provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
