Triumphant Byzantine emperor depicted in the central panel of the Barberini ivory on display in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. The Byzantine ivory leaf dated from the first half of the 6th century represents the emperor as triumphant victor, usually identified as Emperor Justinian, or possibly Anastasius I Dicorus or Zeno.
