(131211) -- TIJUANA, Dec. 11, 2013 (Xinhua) -- Photo taken on Dec. 5, 2013 shows the door of boys' bathroom in the "The New Hope" school in Tijuana, northwest Mexico. The school "New Hope", which was just opened two months ago, has 51 students from 1st until sixth grade of elementary school. It is supported by the National Educational Development Council, the only official institution that gives them didactic material and a monthly economic stimulus of 1900 pesos, for the two teachers in the school. The school was built by the students' parents, with waste materials. Thanks to the help of citizens interested in children's education, it now has chairs and cement floor. This school is considered as the poorest school in Tijuana, according to the local press. (Xinhua/Guillermo Arias)
