This long 1930s red touring bus features a roll-back canvas rooftop that opens to provide panoramic views of awesome mountain peaks for tourists on scenic excursions along the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park in northwest Montana, USA. The 17-passenger vehicle is among the park’s fleet of 33 identical buses that are known as Red Jammers because their drivers noisily "jammed" the gears when double-shifting the manual transmissions on the steep mountainous roads. All of those historic White Motor Company No. 706 models have been restored to their original appearance.

This long 1930s red touring bus features a roll-back canvas rooftop that opens to provide panoramic views of awesome mountain peaks for tourists on scenic excursions along the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park in northwest Montana, USA. All of those historic White Motor Company No. 706 models have been restored to their original appearance and upgraded with new chassis retrofitted with an automatic transmission, fuel-injected V-8 engine, power steering, power brakes, and hybrid electrical system to reduce fuel emissions. Except during the winter season when snow closes the roads, tours aboard the red buses through the park’s spectacular scenery vary in length from 2.5 to 9.5 hours.
