The village of Navacelles nestles inside a tight meander of the Vis river, deep within the Cirque de Navacelles near Lodève, Hérault, France. Meadows and a winding access road surround the tightly packed stone houses. The sheer limestone walls of the cirque rise on every side, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Causses and Cévennes".
