The Centennial Exhibition is the largest of the kind that has ever been held,the Vienna Exhibition ranking next, the area of which was 56J acres. The LondonCrystal Palace covers 31 acres. The number of visitors to the Great Exhibition of 1851 was nearly 7,000,000, andthe Paris Exhibition, of 1867, 10,000,000; from those figures it is estimated that thelast mentioned number will visit this.
