Maulers Three Permanent Pasture Mixtures It is true beyond all question that a mixture of grasses produces abetter mowing field and subsequent permanent pasture than a merecombination of timothy and red clover. The former will last five timesas long as the latter. Timothy runs out in a couple of years or so,while a good permanent pasture will last ten or even twenty years. This has been frequently and forcibly shown by experience. Our com-pleted mixtures are sold in two parts, one containing grass seeds andthe other clover seeds, to be sown separately, on account of their differ-ent weights. The grass seeds may be sown in spring or fall; the cloverseeds preferably in the spring. In preparing the permanent pasturegrass mixtures we employ mainly Kentucky Blue. Timothy, EnglishRye, Italian Rye, Red Top or Herd, Orchard, Tall Meadow Oat, JleadowFoxtail, Meadow Fescue. Hard Fescue. Tall Fescue. Rottgh Stalk Mea-dow, Cauad
