The French Chapel Tunnel built in 1941. The tunnel was discovered by the German guards before it could be used for escape. Castle Colditz or Schloss Colditz in Colditz, Germany. A Renaissance castle most famously known as Oflag IV-C, a prisoner-of-war POW camp during World War II for Allied officers who had repeatedly escaped from other POW camps. Prisoners were allowed the exercise in the park during the war.
