This is an Image of a winter morning scene from Chitkul, Himachal Pradesh, India. This is the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border. It is one of the top locations to visit in North India but is also very remote. During winters, arriving here may get treacherous because of the road conditions. The river in this image is the Baspa River which is a tributary of the famous and notorious Satluj river. The river will flow towards Sangla village through the Sangla valley and then eventually meet Satluj at Karcham. This valley here is known as the Baspa Valley. This place also serves as the base camp for many renowned treks in the HImalayas.
