RM2DBM3N5–A newspaper photo of the captured 247 ft long German submarine (U-boat) U 98 in Whiby Harbour, UK. She was launched on 31 August 1940 and commissioned on 12 October, with a crew of 46 under the command of Kapitänleutnant Robert Gysae, operating from St. Nazaire in France. Considering she was supposedly sunk on 15 November 1942 west of the Straits of Gibraltar (or alternatively severely damaged off Cape St Vincent, Spain) , this raises a question regarding which ,if any , is true, or if the uboat in the picture was wrongly identified.
