Front soldiers spent most of their time waiting, many of them kept themselves busy crafting objects so-called trench-handcrafts. These were a wide variety of objects made from the rubble collected on the battlefield. The Armistice Museum is located on the ground of the Glade of the Armistice where the Armistice of 11 November 1918 that ended the First World War was signed.
