RFHYC5BD–This painting, titled Naughty Child, is by the English painter, sculptor, and engraver Sir Edwin Landseer (1802-1873). Landseer was one of most most painters of his time. His best work is distinguished by simplicity and naturalness, which largely account for his great popularity. They are subject that everyone can appreciate, and, while technical perfection is all that one oculd desire, they also appal strongly to the average person with no artistic perception beyond the ordinary. Landseer also deisgned the lions at the base of the Nelson Column in Trafalgar Square.
