RM2BBBRRG–'The Descent of Aeneas into Hell; English: Over sixty plaques picturing scenes of the Aeneid, the great epic poem by the Roman poet Virgil that recounts the wanderings of the trojan prince Aeneas are known. Seven are in the Walters collection. The series was probably commissioned to be set in the wainscoting of a small room, perhaps the study of a wealthy man with a classcial education. At the upper right of this plaque Aeneas waits with the Cumean Sibyl for Charon's barge, which will take him across the river Acheron to the entrance of the Underworld, where he will visit his father, Anchises.

RM2BJKTMB–The Corpus Christi Barge. Built in 1930 by Salter Bros, Oxford. This is the last Oxford College Barge to be built. These barges were used as a club common room, crew changing room and viewing platform for rowing races. Each barge was designed as a unique craft with architectural merit and her designer, Nathaniel Harrison FRIBA, was a celebrated architect. CORPUS CHRISTI BARGE is one of only seven remaining. Corpus Christi College rowing club barge fell into disrepair when boathouses were built on Christchurch meadow. In the 1960s/70s the College Barges became abandoned and neglected.

Picture taken on march 17 1923 and the large waiting room for people waiting for their turn to start the process of being american citizens. Their papers and documents are being controlled. Aproxamatly 12 million people came through Ellis Island on their way to USA and ca 2% was refused entrance and was sent home to where they came from.
