E. 111., 1876, p. 93), but this does not necessarily indicate breeding. Injured or non-breeding birds often re- main during the summer far south of their usual habitat. It is not known to breed in northern Wisconsin, but it is not unlikely that it does so. The song is charming but not as fine or as varied as that of the Wood Thrush, which it somewhat resembles.
