RMET5NAM–Cubs and Scouts from throughout the Huddersfield South West District took part in the annual St George's Day Parade through the town centre. The marchers assembled outside the Town Hall and walked up Ramsden Street and High Street, along Market Street, down Westgate and Kirkgate to the Parish Church. The return journey took them via Northumberland Street, along John William Street to the Market Place, where Kirklees Mayor Clr Stanley Dawson took the Salute. 21st April 1985.
