The Wendover HS2 Mitigation Action Group have produced a scientific study, listed on their website, that the HS2 North Cutting work will cause irreparable damage to the Coombe Hill Aquifier. The Wendover group have determined without out mitigation it will irretrievably affect Weston Turville SSSI, the Wendover Arm Canal and increase the flood risk in nearby Aylesbury. The Wendover group state that HS2/EKFB have no design mitigations planned.
