RM2FK0J0J–20 April 2021, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Neu Kalliß: The buildings on the site of the former paper mill on the river Elde are partly demolished and overgrown. In 1872, the mechanical paper production had begun in Neu Kalliß. After the Second World War, the factory for special papers was largely dismantled and was one of the largest employers in the region during GDR times. After the opening of a new paper mill in the 1990s, the industrial site stands empty and is increasingly falling into disrepair. All projects for the use of the historic industrial plant could not be implemented so far.
