An old advert for Ray-O-Lite translucent fibreglass awnings - it appeared in an Australian magazine in 1962. The illustrations show people enjoying life out of the bright sun in the cool shade of the awning. The copy emphasises the economic and maintenance-free properties of the awnings – it came with a 10-year guarantee. The Ray-O-Lite company was based in Manly Vale, Sydney, NSW, Australia.
