RM2D33HRP–The Burghers of Calais sculpure unveiled by Sir Nicholas Goodison, former Chairman of the Art Fund and his wife in Victoria Tower Gardens, London. The sculpture was originally removed for safekeeping in the Second World War and then removed to a low plinth in the 1950's. The 'Burghers of Calais' one of over 750,000 works that the National Art Collections Fund has saved for the UK since its foundation in 1903.

RMJ3K2M3–Visitors to Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 are enthralled by the artist Anish Kapoor's 'Descension' installation. The artwork consists of a continuously swirling vortex of water in a 26 foot wide pool hypnotically commanding the attention of the viewer as it is reminiscent of being sucked into the depths.
