RM2D4RX18–El 7 de septiembre de 1590, las tropas de Alejandro Farnesio asaltaron por sorpresa la fortaleza de Lagny, en la orilla del río Marne, afluente del Sena. Los soldados aprovecharon una brecha en la antigua muralla. La ciudad fué tomada por Farnesio (indicado con la letra D, a la izquierda de la imagen), quien en una rápida maniobra envió gran cantidad de barcas cargadas de provisiones hacia París.
