RMR7DAHP–The Hampton Roads Naval Museum proudly hosted a re-enlistment ceremony this afternoon aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB 64). MA1(EXW) Micah Cannon, from the USS Bataan (LHD 5) re-enlisted today in front of members of his command. The Wisconsin is one of four Iowa-Class Battleships, and is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum as a museum ship. The Wisconsin is a popular venue for military ceremonies for commands in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area; and is available without cost through the museum for this purpose.

Eager Lion is an annual U.S. Central Command exercise in Jordan designed to strengthen military-to- military relationships between the U.S., Jordan and other international partners. The Wisconsin is one of four Iowa-Class Battleships that was commissioned during WWII; she, along with her sister ships are all preserved as museum ships across the country.
