RMM1AED6–California National Guard aviators and emergency-response personnel joined the Mendocino Sheriff Office's Remote Search and Rescue training exercise on July 12, 2016, in Ukiah, California. RMM1AEND–Nearly 400 California Army National Guard Soldiers from the 578th Brigade Engineer Battalion were called up to support CAL FIRE on containment of the current wildfires Aug. 2, 2016. CAL FIRE trained the Soldiers on use of the shovel, Pulaski, McLeod, hoses, fire shelter and other fire fighting techniques centered around mopping up hot spots as a Type II Hand Crew member at Camp Roberts. RMM1AEDD–California National Guard aviators and emergency-response personnel joined the Mendocino Sheriff Office's Remote Search and Rescue training exercise on July 12, 2016, in Ukiah, California.
