Sir Barnes Wallis, one of Britain's greatest flying inventors, and famed for his ‘Bouncing Bomb' used by the famous Dambusters of the 617 Squadron. On Saturday night 20 surviving members of the Dambusters gave him an advance birthday party which was held at an hotel in East Horsley, Surrey, which is a few miles from Sir Barnes Wallis' home.
