A 24 hours scooter rally was hold in Sierre (near Geneva) for the closing show of the International Comics Festival, June 15. 53 teams from Germany, France and Soviet Union took part in the competition. The special scooters models are made out of the same plastic material as formula 1 cars or planes to increase the aerodynamics. The organisators of the rally also wanted to make propaganda for the scooter as a new and effective transport vehicle in the city traffic.
