RM2CWA3T7–One of Pathe Freres (Pathe Films) historic 1st cinema posters - 'The Drunkard's Reformation' - Pathé or Pathé Frères ran various French businesses starting in 1896. In the early 1900s, Pathé became the world's largest film equipment and production company, and produced phonograph records. Pathé invented the newsreel in 1908 which was shown in cinemas before feature films. Though this is dated 1903, most records state that it was released in 1909 in the USA. It is possible that this was an earlier English release or French language version?
