Phyllis Barron seen cutting her own hand blocks for printing fabrics.  After leaving the Slade School, she began designing patterns for cretonne printers and decided to return to old methods of hand-printing in order to reproduce her designs faithfully.  Assisted by Dorothy Larcher which whom she was giving an exhibition of her work at the Mayor Gallery in Sackville Street.     Date: 1926 Stock Photo
