It is almost 10m in diameter, and was the biggest in existence when it was built in c1225. At the bottom of each side of the outermost semicircle surrounding the window are statues representing Adam and Eve. The statues were destroyed and replaced in the 19th century. (The image has been cleaned up digitally, but is essentially 'as is'.)
