The picture shows visitors flocking to the newly opened Grand Canyon Skywalk in the Hualapai Indians reservation in Arizona state, USA, Tuesday, 20 March 2007. The Skywalk has been inaugurated with hundreds of invited guests getting fascinating views over the canyon through its glass walkway. Rising 1,220 metres from the canyon's floor and 25 metres beyond its rim, the Skywalk is being described as an engineering first. Las Vegas businessman Jin raised the money to build the Skywalk which was given to the Hualapai Indians in exchange for a percentage of the profits. For the first year some 600,000 visitors are expected to use the Skywalk. Environmental activists have already voiced concerns about the construction on the edge of the spectacular natural wonder.
