The formerly private St Andrew Square Gardens were opened to the public for the first time from the 4th April 2008 after a £2.6 million renovation program. The garden has been re-landscaped to include the new coffee pavilion seen, a reflective pool and curved pathways. The pavilion was designed by Gillespies, a landscape design company based in Glasgow, and the tenancy is run by Coffee Republic.
