This tomb may not be a monument to anyone. It appears to have been put together in the late 16th or early 17th century from broken stonework left around the church after the dissolution of the monasteries. The top slab is of Purbeck marble and the inscription refers to Sir William de Tracey, but the slab seems to be incorrectly positioned. The engraving is of a figure of a priest and against normal practice his feet face east.
