The 8.5 Km Atlantic Road near Kristiansund joins the many islands together to provide this length of unprotected road and goes out to the islands where Vivings joined forces to invade England and Europe. (The Atlantershavsvejen). Is an 8.3Km (5.2miles) stretch of road that joins that runs through the islands of the archipeligo of Eide in Romsdal in Norway.It runs between the villages of Karvag and Vevang, it has 8 bridges. It started building on 1st August 1983 and finished on 7th July. 1989. It is an engineering masterpiece.
