The 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James F. Amos, delivers a speach near the Devil Dog Fountain during a reception which followed the Belleau Wood Ceremony. Each year around this time Marines from this headquarters make the five-hour drive to France within 50 miles of Paris to support the annual Belleau Wood Ceremony.
