RME0WFBR–Aug. 08, 1962 - Race To Rotterdam Starts: Thirty-two vessels began the Torbay to Rotterdam Tall Ships race at 3pm yesterday when the Duke of Edinburgh fired the starter's cannon from the deck of the Royal Yacht Britannia. The race had been delayed for three hours due to bed weather, andis due to end by Thursday.
