Comus (A Mask Presented at Ludlow Castle, 1634) is a masque written by John Milton which focuses on temptation and chastity first performed on Michaelmas at Ludlow Castle, Shropshire in 1634. Arthur Rackham was an English book illustrator who used pen and ink drawings subtlety coloured with watercolours which were very popular in the early 1900s. Photographed from a 1921 first edition.
